The GenNotch 4000UPG Series is a triple specimen chamber, floor-mounted, stand-alone motorized Charpy notch making machine designed specifically for preparing Charpy impact test notch specimens. GenNotch 4000UPG is built to cut Charpy and Izod notches in both V-type and U-type geometries. The system produces top-quality notched samples that comply with relevant industry requirements, delivering notch quality comparable to specimens prepared with a milling machine.

Triple-Chamber Throughput

• U5 type (ISO 148, GB/T 229, GOST 9454) and Type C (ASTM E23) (non-standard type; shorter service life; no warranty)
• U2: depth 2mm, width 2mm, r=1mm±0.05mm (GB/T 229, GOST 9454)
• U3: depth 3mm, width 2mm, r=1mm±0.05mm (GOST 9454)
